Strathmore saw the first public showing of Murranbilla on the 8 to 9th of August 1999.
It's interesting to compare where the layout has come from in terms of presentation and the changes in the scenery, especially the lighting.
All photos unretouched, straight out of an Olympus 900Z digital camera, and resized down.

Our second show for 2007 was held at Stawell in July 2007. We anticipated a good two days of model railroading.
We ended up having a good weekend. The hospitality and organisation was up there with any exhibition we have been to, so if you are invited - GO !
EMRC member James Solakidis has his own set of photos of the show here.

Easter 2002 found Murranbilla back at the 2002 Hobson Bay Model Railway Exhibiton.
One interesting visitor was a train cam that broadcast it's pictures to the next room for the public to see. It was quite interesting! (Also see the driver's viewpoint video and an article on train cams.)

For the first time we showed Murranbilla to the Eltham public! Being a local showing it was easy to get ready, especially with our clubrooms being so close!
We played a small part in the Eltham Festival Weekend with two days of showing our layout. We were setup in the Eltham Community centre, with the woodworkers being the main attraction - we had little publicity. The weekend went well, with no major dramas and a small trickle of people viewing the layout. Being a pure non railway audience, the layout was not "fast" enough for most, but we got positive feedback. Being an open exhibition many trains that would not normally be seen on Murranbilla were being run.
